Copywriting, Copy Editing and what they can do for your business

A copywriter is a professional who creates the ‘copy’ or text for your website and email campaigns. They learn about a product or service in detail and match the tone of their writing to the target market.


A copy editor would take text that you’ve already written and polish it up so that you can be confident in posting it online. These are specialised skills that do take training and practise to master - I gained these skills during my time in the publishing industry both in Canada and Australia.

Having a blog is beneficial in terms of SEO but also as positioning yourself in your market as a thought leader or just generally a super knowledgeable professional. It’s a place where you can advertise promotions, create professional networks and increase your audience interactions.
